Walmart stores have been approved to distribute the Covid-19 vaccine!
A local Texas affiliate confirmed the news on Twitter January 27th, after receiving a statement from Walmart. Among the nationwide list of Walmart stores approved for the rollout were three local stores in North Texas. So exciting!
NBC 5 of North Texas revealed that the Arkansas-based box store had sent them a statement confirming that stores in Mansfield, Lancaster and Terrell would be able to dole out the life-saving vaccination.
Both Walmart and Sam s Club will be working to set up an online system where people can register for the vaccine, the news affiliate revealed. Although the system is not currently in place, it will be coming soon according to the company.
