The City of Ardmore is considering building a new road connecting 12th Avenue NW to Merrick Drive. The road will come in at the Market Street Shopping Center.
Ted s Tacos and Cantina coming to Ardmore this Summer

Ted’s Tacos and Cantina has recently announced it will be opening an Ardmore location later this summer. Located in Ardmore Commons at the former location of the Cotton Patch Cafe, the fast-casual Mexican restaurant will serve a variety of specialty tacos, sheet pan nachos, loaded waffle fries, and build your own burritos and bowls. There will also be a full bar with a variety of drink options.
Ted’s Chief Operations Officer David Foxx said the restaurant will be the second Tacos and Cantina restaurant opened in the state. This version differs from Ted’s Cafe Escondido in that its customers will order from the counter, and it will require less staffing than the full-service restaurant. The concept also allowed the restaurant to have more creativity with the menu.
Water leak creates muddy rivers, waterfalls

Some Ardmore drivers found themselves travelling alongside a small river around midday Thursday. Muddy water gushed from cracks beneath the Crystal Rock Cathedral parking lot on 12th Avenue Northwest for about an hour and sent hundreds of gallons of water down storm drains in the neighboring Ardmore Commons parking lot.
Ardmore Public Works Director Shawn Geurin said he is unsure when a 12-inch PVC water main along 12th Avenue Northwest developed a lateral crack. He said only a handful of businesses and homes roughly a dozen customers were without water on Thursday afternoon while crews worked to replace the line.
