FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) and the National Weather Service are hosting an Arctic Research Open House event this week. The four day long event is free, open to all ages, and will have both virtual and in-person components. Nettie La Belle-Hamer, UAF interim vice chancellor for research explained, “The Arctic Research Open House is gonna be on May 20th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Scientists and students from all the research units across UAF and the National Weather Service actually will be sharing their science in short snappy flash talks.”
