It’s a great accomplishment for a long-time resident of Cornwall.
And it was a development on Tuesday that set off political shockwaves, the news reverberating that effective immediately, Bernadette Clement had resigned from her position as mayor of Cornwall, following her appointment to the Senate of Canada.
