Tablets for migrant children in Carapichaima Published by Tags
The Archdiocesan Ministry for Migrants and Refugees (AMMR), in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) recently distributed several tablets to children in the Carapichaima parish.
This is part of an initiative to increase access to online educational resources for migrant/refugee children. This partnership will provide several other children across the Archdiocese with tablets as well.
“Education is a fundamental right of the child and as such, the AMMR and the CCSJ are dedicated toward increasing access for all children who reside in Trinidad and Tobago”, a statement from the AMMR/CCSJ said.
