The Anglican Bishop of Asaba, the Rt. Rev. Justus Emeka Mogekwu, has said that Christ is for all nations and that Christians should take it upon themselves to make Him manifest wherever they find themselves and in whatever they do.
“Christ Salvation, by the manifestation to the Gentiles, is not only for the Jews but for the whole world,” he said. x
Mogekwu was preaching at a Holy Communion service to mark the ‘Feast of Epiphany,’ during the yearly Bishops’ Retreat of the bishops of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) at the Ibru Centre, Agbarha Otor.
He noted that the wise men from the East had an extraordinary revelation of Jesus Christ in their astrological/professional practice, and decided to follow it up with a personal investigation, in the course of which they made it known to King Herod, and ultimately worshipped the newborn King, when they found Him.
