The Latin American Episcopal Council (CELAM) has announced plans for a large ecclesial assembly next fall in Mexico City that will bring together lay and clerical delegates from 22 countries and territories in the region.
The November 21-28 synodal gathering in the Mexican capital will take place some 14 years after CELAM held its most recent general conference in 2007 in Aparecida (Brazil).
