Arcanum thanks Smith, talks zoning

The Arcanum Village Council met Tuesday evening to send-off Village Utilities Superintendent Keir Smith, who will be retiring on Jan. 31, and to discuss the town’s new zoning map.

ARCANUM The Arcanum Village Council met Tuesday evening to celebrate the retirement of Keir Smith, Village Utilities Superintendent, and discuss the village fire department and new zoning map.
The meeting began with Mayor Bonnie Millard and the council recognizing the Village Utilities Superintendent Keir Smith. Smith will retire effective Jan. 31 of this year. The mayor and council presented Smith with a proclamation for “… (Smith’s) dedication and devotion of services he has performed as the Village of Arcanum Utilities Superintendent.”
