Motorists travelling towards East London city centre had to run for their lives following a freak accident where a burning bus smashed into their cars. The bus, which according to eyewitnesses was empty of passengers, is said to have rolled backwards after it reached the traffic lights at the intersection of Commercial Road and Cambridge Street.
