Arantxa Sanchez Vicario: Former tennis grand slam champion sentenced for fraud

Former world number one tennis player Arantxa Sanchez Vicario has been handed a suspended two-year jail sentence for fraud by a criminal court in Barcelona. Sanchez Vicario, 52, was one of five people convicted alongside her former husband Josep Santacana of concealing assets with the purpose of avoiding paying an outstanding debt to the Banque de Luxembourg. Santacana was sentenced to three years and three months in jail.
