Another cyclonic circulation is expected to emerge over central parts of Andaman Sea around 03-04 Nov. Like the existing one over east-central BoB, the weather system will move across the Gulf of Thailand, Arakan Coast and Northern parts of Malay Peninsula.
Bay Islands including Maya Bandar, Long Island, Port Blair, Hut Bay, Car Nicobar and Nancowry are expected to have moderate rainfall accompanied with squally winds. Intense rainfall will remain confined to extreme North Andaman Sea, Gulf of Martaban and Arakan Coast of Myanmar
The system will enter from Gulf of Thailand and adjoining Arakan Coast pf Myanmar around November 24. The system will form in the Bay of Bengal around November 24 as a Cyclonic Circulation. It will take some time and remain a Circulation for the subsequent 2-3 days. However, unlike the previous systems, it may cut short its sea travel.
Low pressure is likely to move westward and cross over to the Arabian Sea on 24th Nov. It will continue to affect weather over South Peninsula on 24th & 25th Nov. Weather activity will reduce substantially on 26th Nov when the cyclonic circulation of low pressure shifts far over South-Central Arabian Sea.
Weather activity will extend inland covering interior parts of Tamil Nadu, parts of Rayalaseema, lower parts of South Interior Karnataka and state of Kerala between 22nd and 24th Nov.
