The Preparatory Committee for the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council convened on Monday to discuss the preparations for the third meeting of the Council to be held in Riyadh. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa will co-chair the meeting scheduled for Wednesday. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif al Zayani co-chaired the preparatory committee’s meeting.
During the meeting, both sides discussed several regional and international issues of mutual concern, whatever that can enhance GCC-Indian relations, and opportunities to move this partnership to the level of strategic relations that can establish a new era that serves joint interests.
