ESCWA, SDRPY meet with Yemeni govt to support development
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (
ESCWA) and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) held a meeting with the government of Yemen and regional and international partners to back development in Yemen.
The participants included
the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and the World Bank, and they discussed development challenges faced by Yemen and requirements for the post-conflict phase.

RIYADH The Board of Directors of the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) held its 22nd meeting here Tuesday, chaired by the President of AGFUND Prince Abdulaziz Bin Talal.
The meeting discussed AGFUND s vision for the post-coronavirus pandemic period until 2030, represented in adapting the strategic objectives of the AGFUND development programs to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on beneficiary groups, as well as AGFUND s achievements during the year 2020 in light of the repercussions of COVID-19 and the response of AGFUND to them.
