whole idea was to train libyan civil servants to help libya. lse remains very supportive of davies. they say they have accepted his resignation with regret. he still gets a lot of support, but he said he wanted to resign to protect the lse institution and what he says is a personal error of judgment. and because the lse is such a r reputable organization. this shows the reach gadhafi s money has around the world. not only did he advise the lse to accept the money, he served the role of an envoy to advise libya on economic policies. he did have quite a pivotal role. has he really done anything wrong?
