On Thursday, members of the Arkansas Legislative Council Executive Subcommittee approved emergency rules submitted by the AR Department of Education allowing for the use of state funds to help pay for private, parochial or homeschooling for students who qualify through individual funding accounts, or what are called Education Freedom Accounts, for the start of the 2023-24 school year.
