Now that summer is here, it s time to road trip to the waterpark.
A roadtrip to the waterpark is one of my favorite things to do during the summer. I m not a big beach person, but I ll do a waterpark. It s because of all that sand why I don t care for the beach because it gets EVERYWHERE and the fun is just one dimensional. Run out in to the ocean and back. Whereas in a waterpark, there s so much more to do.
East Texas has one major waterpark, Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Canton, and one indoor waterpark, The WaterPark At The Villages on Lake Palestine. So if you want to visit a waterpark, you ll definitely need to make a day trip out of it. Each waterpark offers up a variety of different activities and are similar in many ways, but different and unique in their own way.

SeaWorld, Aquatica passholders get lineup of special offerings this month

ORLANDO, Fla – SeaWorld Orlando and its water park Aquatica are offering new special offerings for its annual pass members in the month of March.
According to the park’s blog, SeaWorld pass members can receive a new Seven Seas Food Festival gift, experience VIP ride night and get up-close with the park’s dolphins or killer whales. Aquatica pass members can celebrate the park’s 13th anniversary and take advantage of $6 refillable cups or save 20% on the park’s new Commerson’s dolphin close-up tour.

SAN ANTONIO – Aquatica San Antonio at SeaWorld will reopen just in time for spring break.
Waterpark officials said it will be open from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. starting Saturday through Sunday, March 14. After spring break it will be open on weekends through June 4, then it will be open daily.
Safety measures like limited capacity, temperature checks and cleaning, will still be in place.
Guests over 2 years old will be required to wear face coverings in certain areas of the park, like the park entrance and exit, but not while in water attractions.
SeaWorld in San Antonio and Aquatica are looking to fill more than 500 part-time and seasonal positions including park operations, merchandise, food service, lifeguards and maintenance.
