I wanted to acknowledge the Department Staff who have been working for over eight weeks in terms of our preparedness and our response in terms of dealing with the coronavirus. Last tuesday i am pleased to announce that mayor breed declared a state of emergency in the city, which was transformative in our ability to better prepare for the response.
