BOZRAH For students at the Fields Memorial School in Bozrah, Monday marked the first day back to in-person classes in three weeks, due to COVID concerns and work on the building. However, many Bozrah parents say that they were not notified how the return would be handled until late Sunday night.
On the Bozrah Community Forum Facebook group, Borah parents voiced their concerns about receiving a notification from the district at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, the night before students were to return, commenting it was too late for parents to respond and plan. The message itself mentioned how drop-offs and pick-ups would work and said that seventh and eighth grade students would be directed to their home room when they arrive. Eighth graders would retain the same homeroom teacher, but the seventh grade students would be divided between one of two homeroom teachers when they arrived. However, the sixth grade students learned about which homeroom they have earlier this past weekend by email.
