Is rife with drug dealing and of course open air drug using. The owner of mr. Smith has shut its doors saying either employees nor customers want to walk the gauntlet that is now required just to get inside. It is always hard shutting down the business. This frustrating when it is something i feel the city should be able to control or do something about. And they are just not. Reporter when he opened mr. Smith in the tenderloin and the early 2000 the area was pretty deserted. There were some street level crimes. There were some issues. Not to the level we see today.
