Las Piñas LGU wants successful vaccination roll out

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar (City of Las Piñas Official Facebook Page / FILE PHOTO / MANILA BULLETIN) Mayor Imelda Aguilar said Vice Mayor April Aguilar-Nery continue to conduct inspections at the 10 vaccination sites in the city’s District 1 and 2 to ensure that health workers assigned are all prepared during the vaccination roll out. The mayor said the city government conducted vaccination simulation on Friday, March 5 at the Las Piñas Elementary School Central, aiming for the doctors and nurses to be well prepared to meet the standards set for the vaccination program. She added the continued vaccination simulation was part of the city government’s priority to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the residents.

Las Piñas conducts COVID-19 vaccination simulation, targets to inoculate 3,000 residents daily 

Published February 8, 2021, 7:36 PM Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced during the city’s vaccination simulation the local government targets to inoculate 3,000 residents daily. Aguilar said the 3,000 residents to be inoculated are equivalent to 300 vaccines to be distributed in each vaccination area in District 1 and 2 at the city’s 20 barangays. The mayor was joined by Vice-Mayor April Aguilar-Nery, Department of Health (DOH) Regional Director Ma. Paz Corrales, and doctors from the City Health Office (CHO) during the vaccination simulation held at the Las Piñas Elementary School located along P. Diego Cera, Barangay Elias Aldana on February 8.  Aguilar said the city government is already prepared with vaccination rollout once the 300,000 AstraZeneca vaccines procured from the British drugmaker arrive in the city.

Concepcion: Private sector secures 17 M COVID-19 vaccine doses

These 39 LGUs, together with 300 donor companies and vaccine supplier AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals Philippines, Inc., participated in the “A Dose of Hope” ceremonial Signing Wave 2.
