The Appleton Board of Education is looking for two new board members.
The vacancies are due to the resignations of Board members Barry O’Connor and Gary Jahnke. Both were elected to serve through 2023 and will step down effective July 31.
O’Connor submitted his notice of resignation Monday, less than a week after Jahnke informed the board of his resignation. Candidates for the board seats have two weeks to apply for the posts. The successful candidates will serve until next April’s election.
