The Balochistan Liberation Army's Majeed Brigade has claimed responsibility for today's suicide attack at Karachi University, which killed three Chinese nationals. The suicide attack, according to the group's spokesperson, was carried out by a female suicide bomber named Shari Baloch. According to initial accounts, the explosion occurred in a van near Karachi University's Confucius Institute.  After the explosion, rescue and security officials arrived on the scene and roped off the affected regions, launching rescue operations.
