Local News Briefs: Dutro Ford distributing free face masks Staff Report Free face masks at Dutro Ford ZANESVILLE - Dutro Ford is distributing free face masks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday. Each person can pick up 20 disposable masks while supplies last at the 135 S. Fifth St. dealership. It s part of Ford s nationwide #FinishStrong initiative, a public call to action encouraging Americans to pull together, protect each other and save lives until the COVID-19 vaccines become more available. More than 90 other Ohio Ford dealerships are participating Tuesday. (Photo Provided) Staff Report ATHENS, Ohio The Athens Conservancy has received a grant of $6,225 from the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio. The grant through the Environmental Stewardship Pillar of Prosperity Fund will support the conservancy’s Finding Your Way Outdoors project and efforts to connect Appalachian Ohioans with nature. The project is a collaboration of local partners with the Athens Conservancy to encourage residents and visitors to explore the outdoors, become acquainted with preserves operated by the conservancy and learn about the natural world and its connection with everyone.
