The Chairman of the Kaduna State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako and his wife, Pastor Cindy Bako, have gained their freedom.
Apostle Bako, who doubles as the Secretary of Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders’ Association was kidnapped on Christmas Day.
Unknown gunmen kidnapped the cleric and his wife at their home in Albarka Camp, at Fadan Kagoma, near Kafanchan.
The unidentified young kidnapped along with the apostle and the wife has also been released by the kidnappers.
Confirming their release, Rev Tony Inwulale, Secretary of Kaduna PFN, announced their release to the Kaduna State Government.

Kidnapped Chairman of the Kaduna State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako, and his wife, Cindy, have regained freedom from their captors.
At about 8:00 pm on Christmas day, Gunmen invaded the Albarka Prayer Camp at Fadan Kagoma near Kafanchan in Jema’a Local Government Area of the state, shot indiscriminately before taking away the cleric, wife and one other person identified as Mr Douglas to an unknown destination.

The Chairman, Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State Chapter, Rev. Joseph Hayab, yesterday, confirmed the kidnap of the state Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako and his wife, Mrs. Cindy Bako. He said: “Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako is the Secretary, Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association.”
Hayab lamented that the church has had enough of relentless kidnapping of its members and ransoms paid before regaining their freedom.
He described Apostle Bako as a very strong member of Jema’a network, a father to many, a front-runner of peace, justice and unity in Southern Kaduna, calling on security agencies to help ensure their release from their abductors.
