An 8-year-old girl from Bihar underwent a lifesaving liver transplant procedure here after being diagnosed with a rare disease which has a 100 per cent mortality rate in children who develop coma, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals said on Tuesday.Wilsons disease is a genetic disorder in which excess copper builds up in the body leading to liver damage.
