Some parts of the Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, experienced blackout on Wednesday as the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) announced maintenance exercise. AEDC in a statement said electricity would be disrupted in some areas on Wednesday, 10th January 2024, between 09:00 am and 5:0Opm. It was learnt that the blackout was due to an ongoing Japan International Cooperation project work on the 33kV feeder H31 Apo Transmission Substation.
