Eastern Cape premier Oscar Mabuyane has promised to create 200,000 work opportunities for young people in the province.Mabuyane was addressing a Youth Day Rally in Gqeberha on Friday.
The Eastern Cape has been flagged by the auditor-general for not properly complying with its spending of flood disaster relief funding. According to the AG, the province was given R109m to spend on relief funding to fix infrastructure damaged during flooding early last year.
