To ensure smooth integration of Information Communication Technology in the process of governance, the Ogun State Government through the Bureau of Information Technology has trained some of its civil servants in digital documentation process.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Information Communication Technology, Olakunke Akinbola, said this during the training organised by the Bureau of Information Technology in partnership with Apex Applications Limited, according to a statement by the state government.
Akinbola noted that the state was following the ‘ISEYA’ Agenda to improve on digitalisation.
He said that part of the process was to deploy an Electronic Document Management System into the management of government activities in order to do away with physical paper work, adding that files would be scanned and archived into the system for proper storage.
