The demolition of Supertech Twin Towers in Noida's sector-93A was carried out successfully on Sunday, with the nearly 100-metre-tall buildings coming down in seconds, following a series of controlled implosions.
The towers had already been fitted with around 3,700 kgs of explosives that have been drilled into their walls. The mandate for the demolition was handed to a Mumbai-based firm called Edifice Engineering and South African firm Jet Demolition.
