president, i think it s interesting, herbert hoover. tell us about herbert hoover. he was a millionaire, businessman, engineer, had a mining company. and in world war i, he started distributing food and won international claim and prominence. commerce secretary in the 1920s and became president in 1928. he had never been elected to anything before. i think that s fascinating we elected a millionaire back then to become president. what about chester arthur? he is my half. my indirect president that didn t have any politically experience. arthur was the head of the new york port authority. he was an appointed position at that point. but he was a new yorker. and so they put him on the ticket as the vp in 1880. and then president james garfield, who had been a congressman was assassinated and arthur became president. it was undirect way in some ways to the presidency without any political elected experience. some of them had been appointed as you point out.

[. whoa! [ laughter ] i am done.
