CHILDREN melted everyone s hearts as they sang Away in a Manger. Hatchmere class from Over St John s Primary School stole the show at a drive in carol service at Winsford Academy. Little ones dressed up as angels, kings, shepherds and donkeys brought the nativity to life on stage.

Hatchmere class from Over St John s Primary School singing Away in a Manger A big effort was made to organise the outdoor festive celebration to make up for the cancellation of carol services in churches across the town. Rev George Crowder, vicar of St John s Church, Over, said: I was so pleased to see it come together, well aware of how hard everyone on the team had worked to make it happen.
