The image of Narada Muni immediately conjures up a very interesting persona in front of our eyes. A sworn bachelor, he is the eternally travelling sage singing the praises of Lord Vishnu and narrating spiritually enlightening fables. Narada is supposed to have been born out of the mind of Brahma, the creator of the world and the entire universe. His roving is epic as he pierces through many skies, earths and celestial planets, participating in seminal events across realms. Sage Narada makes an appearance is several epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata as also in many Puranas, which are all holy texts.
