Antrim captain Conor McCann says he and his team mates are keen to embrace the challenge of playing in hurling’s top tier in 2021.
The full-forward was also named the GAA/GPA 2020 Joe McDonagh Cup Player of the Year and, speaking to GAA.ie afterwards, he said he’s relishing the season ahead.
“The thought of those matches is what s keeping us going at the minute,” said the Creggan Kickham’s clubman. “We were down to play Clare at home in our first match and we re in a group with Kilkenny, Wexford, Laois and Dublin so lots of good matches to look forward to.
