The board decided to forgo vetting the bill through its legislative committee in order to come out with an official stance ahead of a Dec. 14 public hearing.

Higher priority was given to renovations and additions at Oakland Mills and Centennial high schools, as well as to an addition at Thomas Viaduct Middle School. Construction of high school 14 was also added back to the list.
The school board also rejected several proposed redistricting plan modifications, including the Figure B-8 plan that some Elkridge residents had supported.
