MSN Labs had earlier launched a Covid treatment portfolio of Favilow (Favipiravir) in the strengths of 200mg, 400mg and 800mg, Oselow (Oseltamivir) in 75 mg capsules and also obtained a voluntary license for Baridoz (Baricitinib) last week from Eli Lilly.

Generic drug company MSN Labs on Friday announced launching Posaconazole to treat the deadly black fungus both in the form of delayed-release tablets and injections.
The announcement comes at a time when India is witnessing an increased number of post-Covid-19 patients being detected with black fungus or mucormycosis and a shortage of antifungal medicines.
Noida: BR Singh, a Noida resident, has been desperately trying to source amphotericin B an injection for the treatment of mucormycosis (black fungus) for his friend Akhilesh Kumar. Over the past two days, Singh has been contacting officials to get the drug for Singh, who is currently in Jaypee Hospital.
“Neither the control room, nor any health official has been able to tell me where to find the medicine or when it will arrive in the city,” said Singh.
Supply to hospitals in the city of the injection, for which demand has shot up, has begun through the government channel. Health department officials said the UP Medical Supplies Corporation received the first batch of 980 vials of amphotericin B this week.
