there. what about the other senators who were on the fence? reporter: before i came over here, i spent some time at senator flake s office. i spoke to protesters on the full range of the spectrum, pro kavanaugh, anti-kavanaugh, folks who just wanted to be here to be in the mick. here s what two women told me. the credibility is spot on. i believe he is a man of god. he was chosen by god. these special allegations, dishonesty during testimony, maybe even more of an outrage. i don t see how we can let someone like that on the supreme court. reporter: over there at senator flake s office, we encountered many more pro kavanaugh women for kavanaugh protesters than we did the anti-crowd. it was quite notable. i hadn t been anticipating that. also, dana, i would be remiss if i didn t say protesters have been on good behavior. we have not seen people rowdy.
her casual, nothing really going on. i don t really know what their plans are for the rest of the day. nobody has expressed that to me. there is one group in a van and they rented several large white airport bands to bring people here. i saw one group leaving a little while ago with new york plates. one gentleman in that car had his head severely bandaged up. he said that the emancipation park he was pushed by police officers into the anti- crowd who beat him with sticks. were moving closer into this white nationalist gathering now. to try to figure out what s going on. i think that is david duke if i m not mistaken. is that david duke standing up there? yes, it is. we ll try to hear they re sayi saying. it was david duke. as reported he was talking about how charlottesville and the rally fulfills the promise of title trump. he saying the same thing now.
in this country, half this damn problem would be off the table. the unions wouldn t have to be fighting for a full coverage. full coverage. that s a heck of a benefit today. and that really gets them upset. because, you see, if someone over in that anti-crowd doesn t have health care they re not going to try to get health care. they re not going to advocate to try to make it right for everybody to make it accessible to everybody. no. it s a hell of a lot easier to go pick on the people who have got it and have worked hard for it and negotiated for it and agreements have been made. that s what the problem is with the aftermath of all of this is that we will be a country that needs to do a lot of healing because we are identifying the haves and the have nots and we don t want to help the have nots anymore. this is a country that is changing its soul and we are watching this unfold and it is sad. to think that a governor thinks a solution is to keep people out of the capitol is amazing to
