There s a possibility of a thunderstorm later today, but it s not expected to be severe. Maximum temperatures will sit at 28C for Maleny, 29C for Maroochydore and Noosa Heads and 30C for Nambour and Caloundra. Low tide was at 12.41am at 0.33m and high tide will be at 7.23am at 1.87m. The next low tide is scheduled for 1.54pm at 0.53 and high tide will reach 1.33m at 7.24pm.
TRAFFIC There are no major traffic incidents affecting Coast roads this morning. Drivers are reminded of the possibility of more congestion due to school starting for the year.

She has joined forces with a Coast couple to open a cafe and bakery. Anthony and Alana Uechtritz recently invested their savings into Katie Faulkner s well-known brand The Wonky Loaf to help open its first cafe in Kuluin. Mrs Faulkner said the new team, which included her husband Geremy, completed her business. I was getting lost a little bit in the business stuff because I was all in my head about bread, so it s great to have someone take care of the sensible stuff while I get to fantasise and play with bread, she said.
