we all jumped and all looked at each other and didn t know what to do. and i think we heard another one, and that s what made him like yell at us, like, run, go. the shooter has been identified as 17-year-old dylan butler, a student at perry high school. butler was armed with a pump action shotgun, and a small caliber handgun. reporter: police say butler, seen in this photo posted to social media before the shoot i ing, shot and killed a sixth grader who was at the high school for a breakfast program, wounding five others and the school s principal. before taking his own life. ninth grader anthony ubaldo saw the suspect in the bathroom before the shooting. it s traumatizing, because honestly he could have just killed me then and there, and i wouldn t be here right now. reporter: law enforcement scooping sweeping the school, finding an improvised explosive device, as terrified parents raced to the scene. it is very tough. it s overwhelming.
