Sedalia Police Reports For January 12, 2021

Monday evening, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Cooper Street for a domestic disturbance. An investigation revealed that a male subject assaulted a female subject, causing injuries. Jose Manuel Gutierrez, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree.
On the night of November 16 of 2020, Officers responded to the Menards store, 4400 Wisconsin Avenue for a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with employees who said there were two suspects inside the store who had stolen from the business on multiple occasions. Contact was made with the suspects and they were placed under arrest. Paul Anthony Mundy, 35, of Windsor, was booked for five counts of Stealing and released. The total value of the combined thefts was over $8,000. Charges for five counts of felony theft were sent to the prosecutor s
