today. the alameda unified school district getting rid of 6th through 8th grade at bay farm middle school. many parents disagree with the decision but the district says they ll continue losing money if they don t act. now. kron four s charles clifford joining us live in alameda with the very latest on this. charles, i m sure some families are frustrated with this decision. yeah, a lot of frustration. you know, the school district says that the middle school here at bay farm school behind me has had a declining enrollment for about 7 years last month they announced they were considering phasing out the middle school that made the decision to do it last night. some parents are upset. they say the district moved too fast. on tuesday. the alameda unified school district board voted to phase out the middle school here at bay farm school. the district says the great 6, 7, and 8 have seen declining enrollment for years. and then it makes more sense to move those students to one of
