December 21, 2020 748 WATERBURY Louise Ruth (Sexton) Martorelli, age 83, passed into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at Apple Rehab of Watertown. She was the wife of the late Silvio A. Martorelli. Mrs. Martorelli was born on Feb. 3, 1937, in Waterbury, daughter of the late John and Lillian (Kentana) Sexton. She lived in Naugatuck during her childhood years and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. She worked in the radiology department at Waterbury Hospital for several years until she married in 1955. After raising four children, she returned to the workforce and took a job at Pathmark, where she worked for 17 years. With a passion for singing, Louise was a longtime member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church choir for many years. During those years, she experienced a trip of a lifetime to Italy where she toured many of the basilicas. While there, she had the opportunity to sing in the choir for the Pope at the Vatican in Rome for a New Year’s Day Mass which
