Police said in a release that 23-year-old Southington resident Anthony Ingala was pronounced dead at the scene of the one-vehicle crash. The incident happened “on South End Road in the area of Brownstone Drive” around 3:50 p.m. Saturday, according to police. Police say Ingala, who was the sole person inside the vehicle, had been driving south on South End Road in a Hyundai Elantra. “Ingala’s vehicle left the right side of the roadway and continued traveling southbound along the road edge,” police said in the release. “The vehicle ultimately collided with trees on the western road edge of South End Road at Brownstone Drive and came to rest.”
