WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Alice (Guerrera) Buccitti, age 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at her home in Waterbury. She was the loving wife of Antonio A. Buccitti.
Born on Feb. 9, 1930 in Bridgeport, Alice was the daughter of the late Patsy and Blanche (Lombardi) Guerrera. Alice was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1948. She was a gifted artist and taught ceramics for many years.
Later, she and her daughter Michele opened Twice as Nice clothing boutique and quickly became a familiar welcoming face in downtown Waterbury.
