Escaped Oregon Youth Authority teens arrested near Albany April 03 2021
Youths fled from MacLaren Sunday after assaulting staff member, stealing keys, escaping through hole in perimeter fence.
Three youths who escaped from MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn early Sunday morning after assaulting a staff member were arrested Wednesday afternoon, March 31, in Albany.
Oregon State Police detectives located Preston Andrizzi, 19, of Albany, Anthony Fitz Henry, 18, of Keizer and Christian Goin, 17, of Albany, in a vehicle in Lebanon around 2 p.m. Wednesday. The trio fled in the vehicle and were pursued toward Albany where law enforcement deployed stop sticks to flatten the vehicles tires.
Three teens who escaped from the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility early Sunday morning were arrested in Albany on Wednesday afternoon after being located by the Oregon State Police, according to a news release from the Oregon Youth Authority.
At about 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the escapees were located in a vehicle in Lebanon by OSP detectives. The teens fled in the vehicle and were pursued by law enforcement, the news release states.
Near Albany, law enforcement laid down stop sticks â devices that flatten a vehicleâs tires â which disabled their automobile. One of the teens ran from the vehicle but was caught and arrested a short distance away. The other two teens stayed in the vehicle and were taken into custody. No one was injured during the chase or capture, according to the news release.

The Oregon Youth Authority says at about 2 p.m. Wednesday, the escapees were located in a vehicle in Lebanon by detectives, The Democrat-Herald reported.
The teens fled in the vehicle and were pursued by law enforcement, officials said. Near Albany, law enforcement laid down devices that flatten a vehicle’s tires which disabled their car.
One of the teens ran but was caught and arrested a short distance away. The other two teens stayed in the vehicle and were taken into custody. Officials said no one was injured.
