British paint maker Farrow & Ball has been snapped up by a Danish company for £500m as an increase in home working during the pandemic fuels demand for interior design changes.
Farrow & Ball, which is known for its eccentric paint colour names such as Sulking Room Pink, Nancy’s Blushes and Mole’s Breath, has been bought by Hempel, a coatings supplier founded in Copenhagen in 1915.
