Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Anthony Bueti confirms to News 12 that a department lieutenant who is accused of driving drunk and having sexual intercourse in a police vehicle is now suspended - following News 12 s report on the allegations earlier this month.
The lieutenant is accused of inappropriate behavior with a subordinate officer in an unmarked cruiser while both were off duty in April and attending work-related celebrations.

A Sleepy Hollow police lieutenant is under investigation after he was allegedly caught driving drunk and having sexual intercourse in an unmarked police car.
Sources say the off-duty lieutenant was caught by an on-duty department officer having sexual intercourse with a female officer inside an unmarked cruiser in April.
They allege the lieutenant attended two promotional parties earlier that evening, where he also allegedly consumed alcohol.
Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Anthony Bueti confirms that the village has hired an outside investigator to look into the lieutenant s interactions with other officers.
