The lieutenant is accused of inappropriate behavior with a subordinate officer in an unmarked cruiser while both were off duty in April and attending work-related celebrations.

Sources say the off-duty lieutenant was caught by an on-duty department officer having sexual intercourse with a female officer inside an unmarked cruiser in April. They allege the lieutenant attended two promotional parties earlier that evening, where he also allegedly consumed alcohol. Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Anthony Bueti confirms that the village has hired an outside investigator to look into the lieutenant s interactions with other officers.
