LUCKNOW: A local court on Friday allowed seven-day police custody of three persons who were arrested by UP ATS for allegedly helping two terror accused associated with Al-Qaeda.
ATS had on Wednesday arrested Shakeel, Mustaquim and Moid for providing firearms and explosives to Minaz and Masiruddin, the alleged operatives of Ansar Ghazwatul-Hind (AGuH), an auxiliary unit of Al-Qaeda.
IG ATS GK Goswamy said that the data would be retrieved from the mobile phones of the arrested persons for further analysis. “We have formed three teams and prepared a set of questions which will be put forth to the trio. They will also be confronted with the evidences collected,” he said.
