Oscar on Sunday, is all set for an English-language remake with actor Leonardo DiCaprio likely to play Mads Mikkelsen s role.
The rights to the Danish film, directed by Thomas Vinterberg, were acquired by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson s Appian Way, Endeavor Content, and Brad Weston s Makeready, with DiCaprio set to star as Martin, reported Deadline.

The film will be an adaptation of Thomas Vinterberg’s foreign-language movie as an English remake. DiCaprio himself is set to star as the lead, in place of the original film’s role played by Mads Mikkelsen, in the upcoming movie, as a middle-aged man going through an existential crisis. Vinterberg will be involved in the remake as an executive producer. According to reports, Appian Way is already looking for writers, so movie-buffs can expect the film to start production soon.

Washington [US], April 26 (ANI): Denmark s comedy-drama film Another Round has taken home an Oscar in the category of Best International Feature Film .
After winning the Academy Award, director Thomas Vinterberg said, We wanted to make a film that celebrates life. Another Round is a comedy-drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg. It is an international co-production between Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, and Lars Ranthe.
The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2020, and it was released in Denmark on September 2020.
