If patients arrive too early it can cause long queues in the cold. Given the weather conditions that are forecast we want to ensure people stay warm and well while attending their appointments.

In addition to not arriving too early, the CCG has issued the following advice:
If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait in your car. Bring a blanket, hot drink and a book or newspaper to make your wait more comfortable.
Wrap up warm. Lots of thin layers are recommended as well as a warm winter coat, hat, gloves and scarf. A short-sleeve base layer will make it easier to administer the vaccine in the upper arm.

It comes after senior doctors called for the gap between first and second doses of the Pfizer product to be reduced to a maximum of six weeks.
Snettisham and Swaffham medical practices will be used as COVID-19 vaccination sites from next week

Two surgeries in West Norfolk will be used as vaccination sites from next week as the NHS protects the most vulnerable patients against COVID-19.
Along with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, St James Medical Practice and St Johnâs Surgery in Terrington St John, both Snettisham Surgery and the Manor Farm Medical Centre, in Swaffham, will be used to help with the vaccine roll out.
Almost 40 per cent of all people over the age of 80 living in Norfolk and Waveney have received their first vaccination against COVID-19.
Andrew Proctor, chair of the Norfolk Covid-19 Engagement Board and leader of Norfolk County Council, aid: “I speak for myself and all the other Norfolk leaders on the Engagement Board in saying there is no doubt that 2020 has been a really difficult year but we can look to 2021 with hope.
