The Duncans’ 11-year-old son was rushed to Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in mid-January after he was found to be unresponsive and hypothermic.
Medical staff determined bruises to the child’s neck, shoulders, back, abdomen, hip and genitals were not consistent with accidental injury and reported in injuries to authorities.

The Lebanon County District Attorney has filed charges against a North Annville Township couple in connection with the alleged prolonged assault and abuse of their five adopted children, according to a news release.
On Tuesday, DA Pier Hess Graf filed the charges against Stephanie Angelette Duncan, 42, and husband Robert John Duncan, 44, of the 2700 block of Cedar Run Road.
They face multiple counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, endangering the welfare of a child, and conspiring with one another to commit these heinous acts.
